Christmas is my favorite holiday. I know everyone says that, but it really is. I love giving gifts to my friends and family and seeing their reactions. This year I did most of my Christmas shopping at Urban Outfitters. They have the best stuff right now! If you are throwing a holiday party with friends and family, they have the greatest things for that too!

Christmas calls for friends, hot chocolate, sugar cookies and good music. I love getting together and having Christmas celebrations with my friends and family. This year I came up with this center piece. Which can be used for a few different things. You can put a dip in the middle, flowers, whatever you want. I like it just the way it is. For Christmas I’ll be making a few smaller ones to go along side it. It’s really easy to make, and prep is only about 15 minutes.

Gelatin Center Piece

Instructions:

Buy whatever you want to go in it like..

cranberries
berries
pine
roses
pine cones
greenery

Really anything you want in it

For one I used (2) Small boxes of Knox (all 4 packets)

-Boil 1 cup of water

-Meantime stir 1 cup of cold water with the 4 packets of Knox for 1 minute. Add the boiled water and stir until dissolved.

-Pour into pan (I used an angel food pan)

-Stick in whatever you want in the gelatin. Refrigerate 20-40 minutes. I refrigerated it for like 15 and then went and pushed down some of the cranberries so they would be towards the top or middle. (since they floated to the top, which would be the bottom when you take it out of the pan)

-Once it’s all chilled and in jello form, stick the pan in warm water for 10 seconds and then it’ll slide right out. Don’t leave it in for longer because your gelatin will melt. I like to put greenery/pine around my plate for more visual display, but you can really do whatever you want. You have creative freedom!
