Another year, another Valentines. Some people love it, some people hate it. I, on the other hand, love it. Especially since being married. Jordan and I have been married for a little over three years. We really get caught up in work and everyday life and I feel like Valentines is the day to remember and do something special to express how much we love each other. Let’s be honest, sometimes we all need that reminder!
Some people like to go all out on Valentines, but Jordan and I keep it simple. It usually includes dinner, a lot of Netflix and cuddling. Jordan knows the real way to my heart is through donuts. (Seriously, my most favorite treat). I’ll take donuts over flowers and chocolate any day. He usually includes a really sweet handwritten card. When we were first married we tried to make sure to leave handwritten notes to each other all the time. As time has passed, we haven’t been keeping up on it as much as we would like. So for special holidays like this, we make sure to do it.
I’m the one that usually picks out the cheesy/funny cards. He picks more romantic/sentimental cards. We love getting our cards at Papyrus. They have the biggest selection and variety of cards for every occasion and personality. They have 173 Valentines cards in their collection. This year they released 32 new designs. I love these cards over any other card more because of the details and how much more interactive they are compared to other cards. I’ve taken photos of my favorites from the collection, but see them all here. I love the beading, the pop out details, it’s all so fun! Which one is your favorite?
