Date night. Seriously the most important night of the week for your marriage! If you are like me, I work all day and all night and spending quality time with your significant other is a struggle. Here’s four of my favorite tips for date night.
- Make it an event. Make a little extra effort and show that this time is valued to you.
- Minimize Distractions. Put the phone down people! Focus on your significant other showing them how important you are to them.
- Keep the conversation light and fun. Don’t talk about stressful things (bills, projects, work, etc).
- FOCUS on each other. Pretend each date is your first.
Jordan and I are teaming up with Express to talk about their amazing new denim with this date night look. We both put an extra effort into our date night looks because it’s still important to impress each other right? It is such a struggle for us to find Jordan well fitted denim that’s at a good price point, but still really good quality. He absolutely loves these jeans! If you ask Jordan I make his wear black A LOT. I don’t know what it is, but he looks so good in black! We paired his all black look with a cargo jacket to give his outfit a refining finished look.
I’ve always loved Express, but I’m really loving their new denim styles for women. I’m all about the distressed look, and they have so many new distressed denims. I’m super into the draped jackets this season. I have this jacket in about 4 colors and plan on adding more. It is super light weight and so soft. Pair a casual jacket with a tee and distressed denim and you are all set! Casual but cute, that’s my motto! Happy Date Night!

I couldn’t agree more with you! Marriage isn’t a "they lived happily ever after"deal. You have to work at it, but that’s what makes it so fun. It’s really important to continue trying to look good for each other, forget what others say, it’s not vanity, it’s complimenting your spouse that you still want to look your best for them 🙂 this lavender color is stunning on you!
