Turks & Caicos

Turks and Caicos was AMAZING. I already want go back! We did a fun little girls trip and we stayed at Como Parrot Cay.

Como Parrot Cay is a award-winning Turks and Caicos luxury resort set on its own private island. It’s on 1000 acres and mile-long beach. When we arrived and the hotel sent a car to pick us up, then we drove about 20-30 min to a private dock. When we arrived at the dock, they greeted us with cold towels (the towels smelled AMAZING), drinks and A/C. Next we took a private boat to another island, this is where the resort was located. It was about a 30 minute boat ride and the views were incredible the entire way there!

We arrived to the resort and were immediately escorted to our rooms! We were blown away, the staff was so friendly and welcoming! Our room was incredible! They recently redesigned the rooms and they are so bright and fresh. The whole atmosphere was very relaxing.

The breakfast was our favorite, it was so good! At Como Parrot Cay there is a breakfast buffet as well as items on the menu to order. The same place that serves breakfast also serves dinner. We ate probably 17 baskets of bread, it was so yummy! There was also another restaurant down by the beach and pool area, we tended to go there more for our lunches and dinners.

We loved the gym and spa. The gym had an amazing view! We went every single day and enjoyed the view to its fullest. They offer complimentary yoga sessions almost every day, which is so fun! Make sure to take advantage of that! The spa had incredible service and insanely beautiful. They have a hot tub with the most amazing view. Everything about the spa is must and you have to try it!

Our favorite part out Como Parrot Cay (‘Cay’ pronounced ‘Key’) were the bikes! They had the cutest bikes that you can take out and ride around the island. They also have coconut and banana plantations on the island that were so fun to go and explore.

Some other facilities that were on the resort were: a tennis court, infinity pool (so beautiful), running trail, book/dvd library, pool table, retail shop, children’s center and water sports hut.

We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely be coming back soon. Turks and Caicos was very secluded so there weren’t very many people on the island. It was nice to do what you want, when you want, and just relax. Trust me when I tell you, you need this trip on your bucketlist! Como Parrot Cay will take care of you 101%.
